Optical Portraiture: Painting the 3rd DimensionGallery 286 hosts the exhibition Optical Portraiture: Painting the 3rd Dimension by Roy Amiss. The exhibition features the unique optical paintings of Roy Amiss which he has dubbed ‘hand-painted holographs’, owing to their similarity in appearance to holograms, but emphasising the hand-made aspect of using a paintbrush instead of a laser. 10 November - 30 November 2009 |
